Long Term Care/Assisted Living
The Sisters of Mercy Mid-Atlantic Community manages two retirement communities, Mercy Center and The Pines at Mercy Center, both in Dallas, PA, adjacent to Misericordia University, and a skilled nursing center in Watchung, NJ.

The Pines at Mercy Center offers safe, affordable housing for active, independent adults. Mercy Center uses a multi-disciplinary team approach to health care including: nursing, social services, pastoral care, activities and speech, and physical and occupational therapy. Their personal care unit, a fully licensed care facility with 81 private rooms, is designed for those not well enough to live on their own, short-term stays, and respite care. The skilled nursing unit at Mercy Center completes the spectrum of care offered by the Sisters of Mercy. Licensed in 1991, this 59-bed nursing unit provides compassionate loving care to the most frail of our population.

McAuley Hall Health Care Center, Watchung, NJ, was established in 1966 to care for the retired and infirmed members of the Sisters of Mercy and licensed as a 74-bed skilled nursing facility in 1994. At all of our retirement facilities, we are dedicated to providing life-giving care in an atmosphere of peace and joy reflecting the spirit of our foundress, Catherine McAuley.
